India have an excellent chance to wrap things up quickly against England in the third Test in Mohali. After taking a lead of 134 runs in the first innings, India removed four England wickets before close of play on day three in Mohali with England still 56 runs behind India’s lead. The fact that England have lost their most dependable batsmen in Alastair Cook, Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes makes this task all the more difficult. Though there is still Jos Buttler, who made 46 in the first innings, to come, England will need a humongous effort from the remaining batsmen to set India a competitive target. England have to deal with the fact that regular opener Haseeb Hameed is still having a sore finger, which did not allow him to bat on Monday.
